ABOUT
Crushed by the weight of conventional views, excelling in academics, staying well behaving, and living healthy—stepping into what society deems a proper life, to me, it's all just societal prejudices against the individual.
Some might choose to defy and pursue the realization of self-worth, following their heart's primary choice. Others might want to be true to themselves but, constrained by reality, family pressures, and societal influence, betray their own desires to painfully live a life like everyone else—going to school, working, starting families, having children, and aging.
These people are referred to as 'Ants.' And then, there are those who never had their own understanding to begin with, blindly chasing what others deem the correct life, referred to as 'Zombies.' Through this, I embark on an extreme path of vengeful rule-breaking, manifesting as sexual liberation, or violent acts by Zombies, essentially, indulging in violence and desires without restraint. Yet, with continuous release, I inevitably ponder the meaning of such actions, their significance, and whether they might bring worse consequences to others, making it feel pointless beyond physical pleasure and sex. What's left of love, then? What
truly connects us?
The purpose of this album is to energize the 'Ants,' offering them a spark that might persuade them to find their steadfast meaning, and to provide 'Zombies' with new lines of thought, making them aware of different perspectives. However, these are the thoughts of the album's first half. The latter half seeks to explore the meaning of love and self-discovery. As for the outcome, even I am uncertain…

BEHIND THE ALBUM
<Born to Kill> was conceived in the first half of 2022 during a pandemic-induced period of home study. My intense desire to create led me to consider dropping out of school to pursue music full-time. My unconventional lifestyle choices and appearance cooled my relationship with my family to near freezing. But from my perspective, I was simply choosing a career I loved, adopting a style I preferred, and indulging in habits like smoking, drinking, and exploring sexuality, which I found perfectly defensible. Yet, these choices continuously hurt my family and even baffled some of my friends. I was torn between not wanting to conform to their expectations and not wanting to cause harm to my loved ones, or being misunderstood by my parents, who couldn't accept the stark difference between me and their friends' children.
